How is the premium determined?
Our premiums are calculated using the yardage on the hole, value of the prize,
and the number of amateur and/or professional participants.
I have a tournament tomorrow. How quickly can I bind coverage?
Our tournament professionals can prepare your quote and final insurance policy
in a matter of hours. Provide complete and accurate information for your event
for fastest service.
What is the minimum yardage I can insure?
PAA Hole-In-One Insurance can insure yardages as low as 130 yards for men
and 110 yards for women.
When is the premium due?
Payment should be postmarked no later than the day before the tournament.
My policy has already been issued. Can I make changes to it?
Yes, you can make changes to your policy but you must notify PAA
Hole-In-One Insurance at 866-899-7097 of the change no later than the last
business day before the tournament.
What do I do if I have to cancel or reschedule my tournament?
You must notify us by phone, fax, or e-mail no later than the tournament date
stated on the policy.
What is the deadline for ordering tee signs?
We must receive your order by 4:00 p.m. MT at least six business days before
your event. If you have less than six business days before your event, your
order will require overnight shipping charges. Overnight orders must be
received by 12:00 p.m. MT three days before the event.
What is the highest dollar value I can insure?
We can insure prize values up to $100,000.
Can I give away something other than a car or truck?
Yes. We insure the prize value, not the actual prize to allow flexibility in
your prize package.
Can I insure more than one prize on my target hole?
No. Our guidelines do not allow more than one prize to be insured on a single
hole.
Do I have to take the bonus hole prizes?
No. The bonus packages are offered as an additional benefit to your hole
sponsorship. However, please note that declining the bonus packages will not
decrease your premium.
What are the witness requirements?
All witnesses must be at least 18 years of age. One non-playing witness is
required for prizes of $25,000 or less. Two non-playing witnesses are required
for prizes greater than $25,000. Anyone — including players — can serve as a
witness at bonus holes. Video recordings may be used in place of witnesses.
How do I file a claim if I have a winner?
If possible, please call us on the day of the tournament if you have a winner.
If your event is held on a weekend, you must call us no later than the first
business day after the tournament to file a claim. Our claim representative
will send questionnaires to be filled out by the winner, witness, and sponsor.
How long will it take to receive my claim payment?
If we receive the paperwork back from all parties in a timely manner, you can
expect a two- to three-week processing time to receive payment for your prize.
If more than one person aces the target hole, will that person also be
awarded a prize?
Yes. Your policy includes multiple-winner coverage on the target hole (not bonus
holes).
Why is my dealership name required to be on the policy if a charity is
paying the premium?
We can only insure PAA members so your dealership must be listed on the
policy regardless of who will be paying the premium.
I'm not an PAA member. Can I still purchase a policy from PAA
Hole-In-One Insurance?
Yes, you would just have to work through a PAA dealership.
