Community Service Scholarship Award
The PAA Community Service Scholarships are available to the children, step-children, and grandchildren of Pennsylvania new car and truck dealership personnel. Those students who are high school seniors graduating in 2012 or who are currently enrolled as undergraduate students are eligible to apply.
Recipients enrolled in degree programs at community colleges or four year colleges and universities will be eligible to receive awards of up to $5,000 per year for two years, and may reapply for subsequent years.
Applicants must satisfy the criteria listed on the enclosed information sheet and provide all requested information. The selection process is heavily weighted to those students who display charitable intent through their documented commitment to those in need in their areas. Consideration will also be given for involvement in other extracurricular activities such as sports, music, and arts, as well as other school or community related endeavors and employment. Students re-applying for years 3 and 4 need not submit essays or letters of recommendation.
