Tool Grants

Apply for Tool Grants 

  • Available to Technicians at New Car, Truck, and Powersports Dealerships 

  • New this year – all tool grant awardees will be presented with a VISA gift card for tool purchase convenience

This grant is intended for your Techs who are new full-time hires at your dealership and the first time the tech has been hired at a franchised new car and truck dealership in Pennsylvania.

TOOL GRANT GUIDELINES AND CRITERIA:
 

  • One tool grant of $1,000 awarded per dealership rooftop, per calendar year 

  • If dealership has 2 new technicians who are eligible at the same time, then both may be awarded $500 each

  • New technician must be employed for 90 days before applying, but not longer than one year

  • Service manager or other dealership management must approve technician 

  • If technician chooses tool truck credit for award, then application must include tool truck owner’s name and mailing address

  • Technician retains ownership of tools purchased as a result of the award

  • Tool grants will be awarded as they are received

  • Guidelines and criteria subject to change at the discretion of PAA
