Sales Process

Examines many of the elements that are involved with vehicle sales, including PennDOT, Dealer Licensing Board, Attorney General, and Department of Banking requirements and regulations.  

Privacy and Safeguards

Reviews dealership safeguarding manual, policies and procedures to establish compliance with the FTC Safeguards Rule.  

Sales and Use Tax

Examines the dealership's records regarding sales and use tax reporting to the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue.  

8300 Cash Reporting

Reviews dealership records to determine compliance with the IRS cash reporting requirements

Motor Vehicle Sales Finance

Examines the dealerships sales financing documents to assess compliance with the Pennsylvania Department of Banking regulations.  

Agent Services Training

PAA's training courses are PennDOT certified. Training requirements may be satisfied prior to contract approval.  Once an employee is trained, the training must be renewed at least every two years.

2-Day Title & Registration

This two-day course goes into greater detail than the 6-hour Basic Training Course. It provides in-depth instruction in areas of basic notary duties, proof of ownership documents, proof of financial responsibility documents, MV-1, MV-4ST, and MV-3 completion procedures, sales and use tax procedures, and power of attorney usage procedures. It will cover Chapter 43,11 and 13 regulations, and will provide instruction on miscellaneous title and registration application procedures.

Notary Training

PAA offers the mandated Rulona-compliant 3-hour basic and advanced notary courses online for members and non-members of PAA.  PAA members cost is $99.00 and non-members is $119.00.

The courses are self-paced so that you can go in and out of the courses as much as needed.  However, once you begin the final test you must complete the entire test before exiting the system.  The courses are available 24/7.  The course manuals are available to print at the beginning of each course.
  
Once you complete the course, PAAIA will send you the certificate of completion along with the notary application. PAAIA also has a notary service that you may utilize to process your notary application and secure your required bond and notary stamp.  The cost of the notary service is $139, which includes your bond, state application fee and official stamp.
